Atsaq's Upcoming Price Changes

If you live in Alaska, you’ve probably enjoyed fresh fish by now—and tasted its blessings in their purest form, a flavor unique only to salmon.

Like salmon, Atsaq Art offers a unique scene in handcrafted art and modern apparel, rooted in the Yup’ik culture of the Yukon‑Kuskokwim Delta. After seven years of product testing and nearly 1,000 original designs, the name brand has become familiar in the region as an online drop‑shipping micro‑business. In recent months, prices have risen across the nation.

Starting September 1st, customers will see a 5 to 10 percent increase on certain items. This change reflects rising production costs from the main U.S. supplier, Printful, Inc., but aims to keep the business sustainable while maintaining the same high‑quality, custom‑made products.

Atsaq Partners in the United States

With remote Alaska and Hawaii customers in mind, Atsaq Art works with trustworthy, dependable, and established U.S.‑based production partners to ensure reliable fulfillment, consistent quality, and access to specialized manufacturing capabilities across its product catalog.

Printful, Inc. — North Carolina

Printful manages the majority of Atsaq Art’s domestic production and order fulfillment. Certain specialty items—such as midi dresses, footwear, and windbreaker jackets—are produced through Printful’s international manufacturing partner. Printful also has domestic printer partners in the U.S. to increase efficiency. This arrangement allows Atsaq to offer complex, textile‑heavy products while maintaining dependable quality control and competitive pricing.

ArtsAdd — Queens, New York

ArtsAdd operates manufacturing facilities within the United States and provides vertically integrated production, including direct access to textiles. This structure enables efficient turnaround times and cost‑effective production for some of Atsaq Art designs.

PrintKK — Pomona, California

PrintKK similarly maintains U.S.‑based manufacturing capacity with integrated textile sourcing. Their streamlined production processes support Atsaq Art’s ability to offer diverse product options without compromising consistency or craftsmanship.

Combined Strength

By partnering with suppliers that blend domestic fulfillment with international specialty production, Atsaq Art is able to maintain a broad catalog while upholding uniform quality standards. These relationships support both operational reliability and the creative flexibility required to bring Atsaq’s designs to customers across the country and around the world.

Most 3‑D Art Prices Will Remain Unchanged

Atsaq Art’s three‑dimensional work has always maintained steady pricing, even as market conditions shift. Fully framed, mixed‑media hand‑carved masks and figurines continue to captivate audiences at special events and exhibitions, given out as awards, retirements, office spaces, home decor, special gifts and drawing interest from people of all backgrounds — including many repeat collectors. Most of these signature 3-D Art pieces will remain unchanged and have been since 1996.

Atsaq Art means supporting a family and a modern living tradition—one that connects past, present, and future through Yup’ik art and storytelling. The younger generation can see cultural inspiration and shape it into their own creativity.

In today's economy, everyone is experiencing hardship and some more than others. We are not rich, and we do not intend to be. Like the ancient teaching, we take only what we need to survive in this modern age. As the old word reminds us: “We came with nothing, we leave with nothing. But if you follow Qaneryaraq—the Word—you have fulfilled your purpose.”

Atsaq Art remains a small rural business in Bethel, Alaska, built in a place where a venture like this has never existed before. We are deeply Quyaq — thankful for the support we have received over the years from customers across Alaska, the United States, and beyond. Your encouragement sustains this work and keeps our cultural expression moving forward with new ideas.

Many blessings to you. Quyana Cakneq.
