Prepare III 8x10
At this time sea creatures are starting to come together from their winter habitats. Whales, seals, birds, and all others follow the fish. Every year these creatures return and prepare to present themselves to worthy hunters and fishers. They see how humans treat their bodies during the preservation process. Fur, feathers, bone, natural material, and carved animals were placed on masks at celebrations. They inflated the bladders of animals like balloons hung on strings. Small carvings of animals were also stringed on the ropes leading from the four corners of the communal Qas’giq. They shook in rhythm to the drums.
After the celebration, the animals returned to Ellam Yua, and told Him that the humans respected them. So, returning through their hunting, fishing, and gathering they present themselves to celebrate at another coming festival. Ellarpiim Yua then being pleased of the love and respect humans showed for one another, gave the fish and wildlife permission to celebrate life like the Camai Festival in Bethel, Alaska.
