The hunters placed the insignia of Palrayuk on the side of their Qayaqs for good luck.  A large six-legged beast about three qayaqs long or more that looked to have an otter’s body swam around the coast.  He had a long tail, legs of an otter and feet. There were three fins on his back above each set of legs.  He had gills and large ears that could hear long distance under water when his relatives are singing far away and hear like a regular animal above water.  He had a long tongue for harpooning all kinds of fish and stiff long whiskers like an otter but bigger. He had no trouble hunting for food.
