Lights Gather
When the sun begins to boil to its surface the plasma gathers before spewing out into the universe and sometimes toward earth.
Just like the animals and fish gather before traveling, the fire in the sun also gathers before traveling. Everything in the universe has laws to maintain and obey.
When the lights arrive to earth they dance across the sky creating a green glow all around you. The northern lights dash across playing football. Some also said the red represented war or times of death. They told children that if they stayed out, these lights will swoop down and take them away as a means to let them go home early. There are other plenty of stories in native folklore all across Alaska.
