My Ores to You III – 3D Art - This hand-carved artwork honors the spirit and endurance of those who provide—workers, hunters, gatherers, and fishermen—whose labor sustains generations. It reflects the quiet strength of a hunter venturing into the wild, carrying thoughts of family, community, and those unable to hunt for themselves. Featured prominently are the ore, qayaq, and traditional tools—symbols of survival that, while now more efficient, remain deeply rooted in ancestral practice. The wilderness continues to pose age-old risks, unpredictable as ever, echoing the timeless challenges faced by those who navigate its depths. A powerful homage to resilience, legacy, and the enduring bond between people and land.

  • This artwork honors the workers, hunters, gatherers, and fishermen who provide for their families. When a hunter ventures into the wilderness, they carry the thoughts of their family, relatives, and those unable to provide for themselves.

The ore, qayaq, and hunting tools, though more efficient today, still serve the same essential purpose.

The dangers remain as they have for millennia, with the wilderness always being unpredictable. These brave individuals put themselves at risk out of love for their families, sharing nature’s bounty under Ellam Yua’s care.

In honor of all the men and women who provide for their families – Quyana Cak’neq!
